CHAPTER THREE: Moving From Physical to Energetic

THE UNIVERSE, AND ALL IT CONTAINS, IS A MENTAL CREATION OF THE ALL. Verily indeed, ALL IS MIND! -Three Initiates, THE KYBALION

At the hospital, I was aware of people shouting, “A girl’s been shot!” Then suddenly all the pain disappeared, all the voices faded away, and I found myself out of my body and surrounded by darkness. It was as though I were momentarily inside a large black sphere, which then burst open to reveal a land of golden light. It was majestic, tangible, radiant...and so familiar. As I looked around at the luminescent landscape surrounding me, I thought, How could I have forgotten this place? It’s my home...my true home! It’s so good to be back. (It was during this time that the doctors were certain I had died.)

Glorious music swirled through me. Every cell in my being seemed to harmonize and vibrate with each note. It sounds strange, even as I write this now, but I was no longer limited to my body. Instead, I was everywhere, merged with the golden light and the music...limitless and and forever, without boundaries. At the same time, all beings—everyone who was in a physical body and everyone who had died—were also there, equally limitless. Somehow we were individuals, yet all one. I know you don’t want to hear this yet, but it doesn’t matter what actions you take or don’t take in the world – although your way of seeing and the attitude you maintain while engaging in any action does matter. Of course, as long as you appear to exist within the world of multiplicity, you will have some temporary earthly concerns...your experience is that you are here. There is a way to go through life doing many of the same things you’d do anyway, but now you won’t do them alone. And thus you will learn that you are never alone...Eventually, you will come to see anything you do to make a living as an illusion to support you in the illusion, without really supporting the illusion. -Gary R. It hit me like a ping pong paddle alongside the head. That’s not quite right. Like a....symphony that washed all over me...all at once. That’s not right, either. I was actually just standing in my bedroom, facing the closet as I recall, when I realized none of this world is real. It just “hit” me and I got it, after having read most of the words above more than once over the years.

We’re all making up this world of ours as a mental construct – the material plane exists solely in service to the reality of soul, life, God, Creator of all, and all of us in the creation. The late film critic, Roger Ebert, shared with his wife shortly before he passed, “This is all an elaborate hoax.”

First, I suppose it was stunning as the realization hit…as it shows just how poorly many of we humans understand the nature of our reality on planet Earth.  And baffling, about myself, because I had read the words before and I can’t help but wonder why all of a sudden my understanding of the same words now is different than it was a year ago…or 10 or 20 years ago. (If time existed, that is.) I truly believe the consciousness on our planet is raising. (It has to, or we’ll keep killing each other off in this illusion!) I also believe we have non-human assistance with this consciousness-raising. I’m no Shirley MacLaine, but I saw a UFO once!

One of the most impactful book series I’ve read is the initial CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD (CWG) series by Neale Donald Walsch. Although, technically, I didn’t read them – I listened to the audio version in my car while driving. I was driving a lot in my Eagle Talon back then. Superb actors Ellen Burstyn and Ed Asner stunningly voice the words of God. Oddly, that car was broken into and car stereo stolen twice and BOTH times, a CWG audio book was in the stereo. I figure the thieves needed the message. But, I digress. In CWG, God refers often to Highly Evolved Beings, or HEB societies.

Earthlings wouldn’t land on the “highly evolved” list. But please live long and prosper. May the Force be with you.

Now, back to my understanding... Ultimately, after experiencing different layers of feelings, it feels like the pressure is off. We really can’t screw anything up that badly if all of life on planet Earth, and the entire “Universe”, is basically one huge mutually agreed upon virtual reality game. With everything going on in the world right now – this is the most global upheaval I’ve experienced in my lifetime, anyway; you too? – it somehow helps me to know we’re all just making it up as a mental construct to help our souls grow. So, let’s not make it real. But let’s DO learn what we need to do to evolve, so we don’t keep making the same mistakes we did before.

It sure feels real though, doesn’t it? And extremely elaborate. I’ve always wondered where things like giraffes and octopi come from. And I still wonder now. (Although apparently there is no then; there’s only now.)

None of this has massively impacted how I physically live my life. Whether you’ve had an experience like mine, or not, or believe what I’m saying, or not, it’s not going to change much for me or for you. (Watch the 2010 film CAFE with Jennifer Love Hewitt, written and directed by Marc Erlbaum.) For me, I’m just more attuned to how important my individual choices and growth are to the collective. That’s literally the only reason we’re here; it’s not like any of us just randomly got born by accident.

And, perhaps even more importantly, I understand that none of us can really screw anything up as badly as we once thought we could, under the human ego dominance. All of this world is created, and we are part of that creation as we are ourselves creating, in order to evolve even further into how we began. In complete light, truth and love.

All you need do is simply ask yourself: Is this what I would see? Do I want this? This is your one decision; this the condition for what occurs. It is irrelvant to how it happens, but not to why. You have control of this.
