What Do Women Want? If you Google this question, you’ll get about 468 billion hits. Who’s seen the movie, What Women Want, with Helen Hunt and Mel Gibson? Raise your hand. Did you like it? Raise your hand again. I did. I loved it. It wasn’t perfect…I mean, who really wanted Mel’s character to lie to Marisa Tomei’s character and say he was gay because he never called her again…Okay, that wasn’t a perfect moment. I recently saw another movie where a man asked a woman, “What do women want?” and the confidential answer, nearly whispered, was “We have no idea.” It may have been the movie He’s Just Not That Into You, but don’t quote me on that. Regardless of the title, I enjoyed this movie as well. So did my partner, George; we both got sucked into it. This topic is on my mind because I have recently met dozens of remarkable female entrepreneurs through joining a women’s business networking organization, and feel blessed as a result. I suspect women, and most men, too, all want the same things. We want to know we’re valued. We want to be able to speak our truth without retaliation or fear. We want our hearts to be wide open even after they’ve been broken. We want to express our purpose and passion in the world. We want to stand up for love, kindness and compassion everywhere we go, even when it scares us. We want to believe our planet is a kind and loving place, and to fully know and embrace our power to create what we imagine and envision. We want a better world for our children, the animals, foliage and beauty our earth supports, and the environment which envelopes us. We want to know we’re making a difference. We want to have fun! We want others to have the same experience and fun! We understand this full, joyful experience in the world is easier and more impactful when we’re having it in community with each other. That’s what I say women want! What do you say? Let us know on the blog. The Authentic Expression Wishweavers Circle home study program is $50 off through the end of February, just $247.
